What is a JFIF file?
JFIF stands for JPEG File Interchange Format. It is the standard way ordinary JPEG photos have been stored since the early nineties, so a .jfif file is a normal JPEG with an unusual extension. Windows often gives images saved from Chrome or Edge the .jfif ending because of a file type setting in the Windows registry.
